Mission Statement

This blog is a 24/7 online Girls Night. Β It’s a place for women to go and share their personal experiences, ask questions, and maybe learn a little something about our gender. Now, it’s not going to be all sex talk all the time like a scene from “Sex and the City.” Don’t get us wrong, there will be some chat about doin the nasty, but the goal is to have a forum where women of all ages can talk openly about anything, free of judgement.

Once a month, we four ladies will get together and pick a theme or activity, find a craft project, or look for a new drink recipe to try out. We’ll post about each theme, the goodies, and the topics we discussed. We’re excited to hear about the different outings other women have with their female friends, so post away! Send us ideas! Send us your favorite recipes! Post an article you found interesting! We’d love to hear from you!

For the men out there, we would also love to hear your feedback. There’s a tab specifically for questions that women have for men, so don’t hesitate to share your thoughts as well!

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again very soon!

A bog with a mission statement … I love it. But, I’m concerned that you’ve spent some of your valuable time checking my blog. I do appreciate it, but suspect you may have keyed on my name, thinking I’m of the feminine persuasion. I get that a lot since 99% of those claiming “Jerrie” as a name are, indeed, feminine. Me? I’m just an old retired sailor. I appreciate your efforts and for stopping by my blog. Cheers.

Love your concept! And I like the way you’ve invited men to join too. I’ve been surprised how many men follow my blog, which is really about living a “delicious” life as a woman. Can’t wait to explore your blog further!

Thanks! We do love our men followers and their input as well πŸ™‚ They are curious about our gender as much as we are about theirs!

    Good morning Ladies!

Thanks for hitting the β€˜like’ button on my last post. Hope you all had a chance to give the podcast a listen. I’d love to hear your comments.

Anyway, that got me poking around here a bit. Very entertaining!

Like DD says in her comment above about men visiting her blog, when I look at the stats for mine it seems I have a stronger female readership.

No sure why. Money would seem to be gender neutral. But I’m honored!

Thank you so much for the response … and forgive me for calling your blog a bog. I hate it when I screw things up like that.

Yes about the water … my wife, Diane, spent the last 20 years of my navy career with me and likes that connection more than me some times. The sound of jets on a Naval Air Station, the smell of oil and paint on any kind of ship, the uniforms when we visit an active base … all of it is very familiar and brings back lots of great memories.

Keep up the good work, ladies.

  15. October 9, 2012 at 12:35 pm #

Well, I don’t actually have a bunch of female friends. I do have 3 very close male friends that I absolutely adore. We get together once a week or once every two weeks on the weekend and have a big dinner together. One of the guys live out of town, so he hasn’t made it yet, but the other two, H and S, and I get along and adore the dinners. And H does most of the cooking with rare contributions from myself or S. But I am really enjoying your blog and plan to spend more time here.

Great idea! I hope it’s a real hit! One of my favorite “ladies’ day out” events recently was attending ArtPrize, which boasts the world’s largest cash prize for creative art. ArtPrize is in Grand Rapids,MI and occurs in the beginning of October every year, and I just posted on my “birthday club” outing there if anybody’s interested: http://kathrynwarmstrong.wordpress.com/2012/10/05/grand-rapids-art-prize-winners/

I absolutely ADORE this idea and the way you four are promoting friendship and togetherness and friendship and womanhood and friendship. Friendship is so very important, which is why I went and mentioned it thrice. Thank you for liking my post ‘I (think I might) hate Halloween.’ at icanseewhyshessingle.com!

Strewth – you’re not going to want me to do some dance in tap shoes and short pants or all that sort of weird stuff on one of these get togethers of yours…. πŸ˜‰
