Hurricane without all the Rain

If you’re going to be celebrating Mardi Gras and are looking for a themed drink without all the unusual ingredients, try a Hurricane Janet! I pulled this recipe from my 500 Cocktails recipe book and it’s delish.

Hurricane drinks

Hurricane

1.5 fl oz. gold rum
1.5 fl oz. white rum
2 fl oz. pineapple juice
4 fl oz. orange juice
Juice of half a lime
Dash of grenadine
Ice cubes

Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Fill a glass with ice (use a hurricane style glass if you have one!) and strain mixture over it.

DONE!

Cheers,
Bryce
