Lady Confession: Resolutions of Yesteryear

Every year we’re faced with the same dilemma, what do I resolve to change about myself THIS year? Here are some resolutions from our past and how well we succeeded!

It seems like whenever someone is about to get married, one of their top priorities is weight loss. And I was no different. One of the benefits of having a long engagement was that I had plenty of time to change my eating and exercise habits in a healthy way before the wedding. The crash diets that some women go on in order to fit into their dress are scary and generally unhealthy. My goal was to lose 20 pounds before the big day. In the end, I did very well and ended up dropping down 15 pounds! Success!

When I first discovered masturbation and thought it was taboo I made a new years resolution to stop doing it, but I only lasted a few weeks!

Success? Man, this is something that I honestly don’t think I’ve ever accomplished over a year long period. I’ve done the “start a journal,” “lose weight,” “stop biting my nails,” etc. Two years ago I did a Mid Year Resolution, in July where I sat down I tried to tackel some things I wish I had started at the beginning of the year. One was fun, and I really enjoyed. Read one graphic novel a week! I did it! I felt really good about it and realized it wasn’t so hard to force myself to relax. 🙂
