Santa’s Cookie Plate

Kids are excited about Santa… and let’s face it… so are adults.

Like me.

When I was a kid baking cookies and setting them out for Santa was the highlight on Christmas Eve (Well that and getting to open ONE gift!). My ma had this super super cute plate that we used to put cookies and carrots (for Santa’s reindeer of course) on!

Several years later I’m still in love with this plate. Thus me texting my mom and her snapping this picture.

I want to share the Christmas with you and hopefully you will make one of these cute guys for yourself or a friend!

Write letter to Santa (feel free to use the same note we had!), draw some special touches around the edges, hollies are easy and a favorite of the holidays. Then bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

*Just remember – Handwash only! AND using darker colors always works best with the plate + sharpie experiment. I’ve had a few epic fails using pastels, which was a real bummer because what I was making looked SO CUTE before it was destroyed!

This is not only great for you but would be super cute as a gift wrapping idea. Instead of Ziplocs or Tupperware, send your cookies off on ones of these cute plates!

Merry Christmas,
