DIY! Thanksgiving Centerpiece

We are only 1 DAY away! Yay! Time off of work, a table loaded with food, and all of the wonderful tastes and smells of fall! I LOVE IT! You have your grocery list, baking list, cooking lists, times set…but let’s not forget how fun the decorations can be too!

Holidays also mean Deals Deals Deals. Michaels… gotta love that place. I was there a bit ago and found everything fall= on sale! I ended up making our Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece for UNDER $20.00!!!

You can make it too, and can always add in some of your fall favorites! The recipe for this beaut is below!

1 Large Round Candle Vase

1 Wreath (Try it on with the vase in the store, make sure it sits comfortably on top before buying)

2 Bags of Mini Pine cone Variety (Mine came with the little pumpkins above)

1 bundle of flowers of your choice

3 Votive Candle Holders

3 Votive Candles to fit

That’s it! I used the scented versions of the pine-cones and the candles… fall choices of course :)

Fill the vase with a small bit of pine cones to get the right placing for your candle holders. Place Candle holders in and add more pine-cones until filled. I hand placed the pumpkins and created the looks as I went.

Set your vase on top of your wreath. Use your artificial flowers to fill in the holes between the glass and the wreath. Style as you go, making sure to move things around for best placing. I then added in pine cones around the flower as well and on the outside of the wreath.

Don’t be shy, add ribbon or any other fall color to add an extra kick to your Thanksgiving centerpiece!

ppssst. Remember to take a Michaels Coupon with you. Just in case your vase isn’t on sale you can get it 40% or 50% off depending on the day! Head over to Michaels to print yours off OR bring up on your smart phone. They just scan the bar code right at the register – FROM YOUR PHONE! Pretty sweet.

Happy Thanksgiving! -Kyla
