Jean Headband – Revamp Your Old Britches!

Ali had a bajallion jeans she brought to our Upcycle Craft Night. After a few ideas were tossed around, a hit with the scissors, this is what we came up with!

Jean Headband

What you need:

Old Pair of Jeans
Buttons
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors

We were using a pair of stretchish jeans. This seemed to work the best to fit most head sizes.

1. Lay out your jeans and cut a 4-6 inch chunk off of the bottom of the leg.
2. Cut the section into three parts, leaving a 1/2 inch uncut right before the seam on the jeans. (By not cutting this you are leaving the circle shape in tact, perfect to put around your head!)
3.  Glue the two outside (non cut) jean pieces onto the middle piece. Picture below for better description:

4. Now take your 3 jean seams and glue on 3 buttons. We flipped a piece over for a messy style look when placed on your head!

5. Wear it and love it! You can also just cut the bottom seam off your jeans for a single strip look!
