Whet Your Appetite! April’s OAM Appetizer…

Instead of drooling at the picture online, we decided to make April’s OAM event appetizer Baked Parmesan Tomatoes! Yum! The mouth-watering photo was discovered on Pinterest, which linked us to recipe from Eating Well.

Here is an actual picture of the Baked Parmesan Tomatoes WE made. Yes, as hard as it may be to believe, these were conjured up in the kitchen of The Princess- Tosha!

We did make a few adjustments to the recipe. The original can be found by clicking the Eating Well link mentioned above.

Here is our version…


  • 1 tomato, sliced (one tomato was a perfect serving size for us 4 ladies)
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Tone’s Garlic & Herb Seasoning, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil


  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
  2. Place tomatoes on a baking sheet and pile all the crap on top 🙂
  3. And about 15 minutes later….viola! Baked Parmesan Tomatoes and instant Kitchen Goddess reputation!
